[ale] Rebuilding an INBOX

This may be an odd question but I accidentally erased every message in
my INBOX on IMAP.   Not to fear, I store a backup copy of each email
before it gets processed by procmail.

Here is the problem.  I have a 450M mailbox format file and I have many
procmail recipes.  I want to process this file against procmail so that
the final INBOX can be rebuilt and then I can copy those messages back
into my INBOX.  Any suggestions?
