got it, already did it. I don't need an MP3, just the wav.. I was just 
recording some bird sounds for an ID :)

and in case anyone wants to know, the command I used ( with success) was:
mplayer "0531000619.3g2"  -ao pcm:fast:file="OUTPUT.file.wav"
