The best Windows Based anti-vrius software I have found and used is ESET.  Their security suite has firewall and the whole package.  Well worth the money.  That is what I use on my one windows machine.  It is also the one I tell friends/family to use.  And No I dont get money from them nor own their stock.  So I have no vested interest in selling their products.
