[ale] kde and tv resolution help needed

What distro are you running? Kubuntu would usually be something like sudo
-u root dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg then rm
~/.kde/share/config<http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/#>/kcm*
from a terminal.
Tried that yet?
