Thanks for the attempt.

That one won't even build.  Apparently its even older than 71.86.09
because it gave me a warning that I was trying to build an older
driver than what was already installed.

I've found a number of references to the 71.86.09 not working with
modern X or modern kernels.  Not sure which is the problem.
