I'm a bit at a loss as what exactly it is that you're needing...are you
looking for cell phone software in particular that's going to be working
with an already established collaboration suite, or are you looking for
a collaboration suite that has good smart phone support?
Assuming the latter, maybe Zimbra:
http://www.zimbra.com/
It's pretty much a MS Exchange competitor, built on Open Source, and
comes in a variety of flavors, both free and non-free. It also has a
very very large community of helpful users and full time developers.
Does great sync with caldav enabled devices (bb support still requires a
BES server for most useful things, so :( ).
Depending on the size of your companies, this may be a bit overkill, as
it is built to be a large scale enterprise solution, and has somewhat
hefty hardware requirements. The upside is that it really does work well
out of the box. I admin'd it for about a year for several thousand
users, and it worked like a champ.
