[ale] OT:Digitizing my old vinyl

I've had both good and bad experiences with Normans electronics (which
also has a facility in Duluth on Peachtree Industrial road about 7 miles
north of the Perimeter).
For my second visit they charged me their standard $60 minimum fee on my
credit card, kept my 17 year old receiver for 2 months and then told me
they could not get the schematics for it and thus could not fix it.
I thought their keeping the $60 fee was fraud but it was too late to
file a complaint with my credit card company. (I didn't take the time
to argue with them or file a complaint with the Better Business bureau
at www.bbb.org). YMMV. I'd probably still use them but be more
aggresive about how I dealt with problems.
