Update to the update:
I had earlier gone to the CUPS localhost:631 admin page and tried
resetting the printer form there. It didn't really do anything but
somehow a new printer was created called E-. Since then SELinux started
complaining about FileLabel errors so I ran the recommended command of
"restore -R '/'" and then rebooted. I went back into the CUPs WebPage
Admin and was then able to delete printer "E-" and reset my printer and
all is working. And I was already using the HP PPD file fooey to
foomatic for me.
