Jeff's got a good summary. with the biggest feature of a monorail is that
it can work well within existing infrastructure right-of-ways, ie: along
highways and existing roads.
While MagLev is kewl in a buck-rogers kind of way, I think a wheeled
monorail would cost less to build and operate and break nicely.
