Discussion of failed IT projects and the marketing hype surrounding
them. #3 is kind of close to my purvey ( and heart!) as they dissed
"thin clients" as over-hyped and under-delivered. Well, OK, it was
oversold as a "perfect one size fits all" solution to APS then they
got hit with the "server overload" problems endemic for this
technology.
