[ale] Status of SAS tape support?

Don't be too surprised you can't even buy lvd anymore from dell corp reps
without jumping through hoops, sas is a smaller interface and a cheaper
cable....I seem to recall sun started following along last year. While I
have no idea what the current gen rs6000/ppc is using as its favored
interface these days it wouldn't shock me if they have switched as well.
