[ale] Help me resurrect my cable modem

I bought the modem. The old Motrorola was getting very poor speeds.
But the ones I see on NewEgg are newer and much faster than the
Motorola (which I also paid for instead of renting). So no one knows
if it is possible to upgrade the firmware, either myself or get
Comcast to push it?

Anyone have a cable modem for sale?
