 Greetings
      I have installed updates to my kde4 which found my computer via SuSE 11.1. I have an Intel 955 board w/extraneous Audigy Plat[?](for RCA plugs) EX which used to core-fault, but now works (like an !Kung sourcecodereader !sorry).
      I cannot get kmix to go except from a root window;
since putting it in the startup the unpriveleged user [UU] gets the kcrash handler pertaining to it. I copied a file from root to UU's corresponding from ~/.kde/apps or something where mention of kmix was lacking, but the crash probably occurs for the same reason the cursor bounces awhile and disappears, (when calling from UU's GUI menu.) I am grateful to SuSE for making me feel I can hope to have a clue [HAC] unlike Microsoft prod.
      Same aim. A gen-Xer presented in a central meeting around 5 yrs ago his efforts at tackling record player noise; do any of you'll know what his package is, (if it is the Australian product which is commercially obtainable?)
      Why is this?
Gratitude extended throughout the forseeable future,
Chick Corea fan
