Am I correct in believing that a 220AC outlet, such as the one I have in my house
for the hot tub, requires at least 2 phases?

I only watched "Lost" up to the end of the second season.  It seemed to be going "X-Files" --
lots of little arcs that seemed promising but ended up going nowhere.  I ended up being
so disappointed with "X-Files" that the appearance of similar aimlessness in a series
will cause me to abandon it.  For those of you that have watched further: does "Lost" get
better (by which I mean: does the overall storyline become more coherent, do we actually
get to figure out WTF is going on to any significant degree, does it seem like the writers
have any plan besides "Keep the audience on the hook and the advertising dollars rolling
in") in later seasons?
