I have to admit I don't like squirrelmails style of php coding. But as
a lightweight web based mail client with good generic imap support it
works well. Almost no JavaScript. No database requirements. And it
works on any generic lamp server.
I'll give neomail a try just for fun.
I like perl as well. :)
