I agree, been a life saver many times. I was referring to the way OT 
threads, but they tend to bring a smile on when life is but a big lemon.

IANAP but it seems that it wouldn't be that difficult to create a plugin 
for the more popular email clients, opensource of course. We can leave 
those proprietary clones/drones fend for themselves.
