I presume that you saved the master key (or printed it out), yes?  The 
password it wants is quite likely the key that was derived from your password 
on the old system, though I could be wrong on that.  I remember when I was 
tinkering with it, though, it gave me a huge key that was to be kept somewhere 
"just in case," which I would assume applies to your situation here.
