[ale] Fedora 11 quirks

VMware server 1.0.x has problems with the latest kernel.
There are some write-ups to work around, but I haven't been able to get VMware serve console running using them.

VMWare Server configuration (vmware-config.pl) pukes all over
itself...dropped back to Fedora 10 and
all was good.. so there are some differences...
