[ale] OT: paper shredding

Keith,

We use Peachtree Secure Shredding.

They are a mile or so outside the perimeter on P'tree Ind.

They accept drop offs for shredding in the noon-2pm timeframe I think.

They have a $50 minimum.  We actually normally have them shred hard
drives.  It is $7 each, so we accumulate 10 or 20 failed drives that
may have sensitive data on them, then take them up there.  (Can't wipe
them since they are inoperative.)

We've also had them shred tape media.  They charge by the pound for
that, so it to is cost effective if you have a bunch to do.

They let us watch on a video camera as the drives/tapes get shredded
so you know for sure it happened.

I don't know what they charge for paper.
