RHEV, the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization platform is all written  
in .net, that's why it requires windows.  I know they're currently  
working on a Java port, but no release schedule on that.  They got  
RHEV through an acqusition, so blame the decelopers and management  
team of that company ;-). Red Hat is working on making it right.
