I would strongly recommend against printing your own photos.
Especially 4x6 photos. I use myphotopipe.com for all of my printing.
They do a great job and offer "do not screw with my color, I know what
I'm doing" service. They offer USPS shipping so you can get delivery
under a buck. Since they are located near REI around North Druid
Hills, I often pick my prints up on my lunch break. I usually order at
night and pick them up the next day. I can't praise them enough.
At this point I would never buy an ink jet printer. I got a ~$150 HP
Color Laser Jet for Christmas 2007 and have loved it. I am still on
the original toner. If it were an ink jet I probably would be on my
6th set of cartridges.
