[ale] Anyone looking for a new gig?

(My $0.02 'technical repremand:) Last time I was job hunting - I would have
loved to have found one recruiter/employer/someone who would bother to read
a PDF/ASCII/html/XML/LaTeX resume instead of demanding one in MS Word
format.
Back to the thread- this time last year I had spent several months and was
reaching max frustration and minimum cash reserves, when - due to
referrals, suggestions, and mentorship from this list - I found a job which
led to a great permanent job that I love. (Unfortunately - it has nothing
to do with Linux - but ALE got me the origional lead/foot in the door.)
I say thanks for the forum and thanks for the mentorship on all topics,
technical or professional, even for us lurkers who only occasionally post.

There are likely others on this list who are somewhat language agnostic and would rather program MS than go hungry.

There are a great number of conceivable uses for that set of skills, and pretty much all of them benefit Linux. Given the wide adoption of C# and .NET as well as the proliferation of Linux, there is every reason to believe that the skills sought may exist in this group. Naturally, Ryan hasn't stated what the project entails, nor would I expect him to do so in such a public forum. What's important is his company deems the skills listed as necessary and that's really all a potential candidate needs to know to decide whether or not she or he is interested in pursuing the offer.

C'mon folks, being asses to each other on this list is one thing but we should *NEVER* be that way to visitors or new list members or people such as Ryan looking for qualified employees or contractors.
