I have to tell a GOOD story, just because it really happened and
soemtimes you do get clueful help.

I had been looking at 24" monitors at BestBuy, (I needed 2, matching, nice ones)
and could not get waited on for a while, and when I did, he was clueless.

I went across the street to Office Depot. I told the guys in the computer
department what I wanted, his comment "We were just playing with the 24"
Viewsonics compared to the others and are very impressed".. I went and
looked at his display, we played with some Samsungs (also nice) and the
ViewSonics. Put them side by side. Their price was $20 higher each than
BB. he offered to match BB's price, I refused, telling them I appreciated
the good service and that they had monitors setup at the full proper
resolution and adjusted them to compare them well... and told them my BB story.
They'd heard it before.

My 2 24" Viewsonics are running Ubuntu very well.. bright crisp and clear.

Sometimes save $20 ($40 total) is important, sometimes getting help making
a decision you live with is worth every penny extra.
