[ale] php5 & apache

ok, before I just start over and reload, where do I need to look to fix this 
problem. I had php working with apache, then I started this ... tutorial, did 
SOMETHING ( lots of things) and now when I try to go to myphpadmin ( or 
squirrelmail) I get the :

/* vim: set expandtab sw=4 ts=4 sts=4: */
/**
 * forms frameset
......


instead of the web page..
