I used to be good at modifying Tulip driver C code for whatever
variant of the DEC 21140 card I had, Or tweaking Phillip Becker's 3c509
code for yet another variant of 3com ethernet card.. and -once- I helped
make a driver for an LMC Tulip Based DS3 card for an Alpha.. and -once- I
worked with some guys at Sandia Labs as we were both trying to mod a
driver for a weird high end SCSI card at the same time, e-mails and IRC
got our code in sync and working on both systems.
Sigh.. And here I was complaining about Skype's audio quality under padsp.
Jaded, aren't we?
