Hey, Paul,

I have the Epson R380 (same basic cartridge configuration), and I really
like it. I bought it specifically to use on my Ubuntu computers, and it
does a great job. 

I highly recommend the Epson line of printers (I have two, an R380 and
an R1800), and they are totally Linux friendly. Ubuntu auto-configured
both of my printers with no fiddling at all.
