[ale] oocalc: a sad story from a oocalc newbie

When I hit Cntrl-C my CLI prompt came back, but a OpenOffice splash
screen was still running.
That splash screen is still on my display (3 hours later). I have not
tried any "kill"s to shut it down yet.
OO 2.3 with OpenSUSE Linux.
FYI: I'm sitting on a Samba Share mounted via CIFS. I've had OO do
weird things before when I have done this. It is a pain.
