[ale] What happened to the command line

I don't seem to have any problem with the versions I'm using. I have Deb
Etch and Unbuntu 7.10 installed, as well as a test machine with Ubuntu
8.04 Alpha 5.

It's not a problem to find a terminal to open. You just have to figure
where in the GUI they hid the good stuff.
