[ale] 2 boxes getting the same address from DHCP

That's still a bit freaky.  Unless you have specific client-id options
set, it shouldn't care about the client ID, and thus, hand out the
same address matching the MAC address.  Behavior outside of that is
not RFC compliant.  I happen to do something similar on campus and I
don't get multiple address assignments.
