[ale] Lightweight Distributions (was Getting Linux on an old laptop)

I have installed OpenBSD on a GateWay laptop with just the floppies.  It has
no USB, no CDROM - just an ethernet port and a floppy drive.  You have more
than enough RAM to handle it & a net install is the way to go with whatever
you decide on.
