[ale] blog recommendations

Any recommendations for setting up a blog for my church group's Sunday 
book discussion group?  Web-based or Linux based would be fine, but ease 
of use is probably paramount for me since I'll be managing it.  Making 
sure non members don't use it for spam or posting nasty stuff is 
important too.
