[ale] Stupid IP question

I always just go to www.checkmyip.com. Don't think the external IP for your router is going to show up with traceroute. At least it doesn't for me.

Yeah, actually traceroute does.  Just tried it on several machines.  It
 
nicely give me the network facing interface as the first hop after my 
router.
