[ale] 2.6.24-rc7?

All,

Just noticed that 2.6.24-rc7 was released yesterday.

Its been about 3 months since 2.6.23 came out.  Seems longer than normal?

I don't follow lkml, but is there an issue be ironed out, or did
Christmas slow things down?
