I find it laughable that more $ would equate with a more open mind.  The
most closed minds I know all work in the high paying IT field.

Also I find it laughable that people actually believe we don't already
spend enough on education.  This country spends more on education per
capita than almost any other yet our standing in mathematics and science
continue to slip.  There's a reason why a bozo that couldn't pronounce
"nuclear" was picked over even the more erudite members of his own
party.   The closed minds in this country do not want to be opened and
they fear anyone that sounds more educated than they are.

Not only that, they get virtually no computer training.  Cobb County 
gave all their teachers laptops, with absolutely no training what so
ever.
