[ale] Fedora 9 64 bit

I've been running 64-bit openSUSE 10.X on all my 64-bit workstations.
The only issue I've had has been the java plugin for my browsers.
I work around that by installing the 32-bit version of FF and Seamonkey.
The iced tea 64-bit java plugin works OK with my 64-bit browsers, but a couple of web based apps I use don't work using it, so I stick with 32-bit browsers.
Everything else works fine out of the box, with the 32-bit compatibility packages installed.

64-bit Ubuntu here. I never have to think about the fact that it's 64-bit.
