If I have a "managed switch" that does VLANs, and I want to determine
what MAC addresses are visible to that switch on a port by port basis,
what is the terminology that would describe the MAC address
viewing/monitoring/collection?

I have seen switches that implement port security by "learning" the mac
addresses for a while then only those are allowed to be on that port
once locked. I want to get that MAC address list.

If someone has a recommendation for a switch that easily does this (cli
preferred over web interface - cisco NOT preferred) I would enjoy that
data as well.
