Don't feel too badly about it. I ran my speedtest and have a 777kb/s download
speed. That's with DSL (second faster service speed for BellSouth). The
upload was only 65 kb/sec. All this plus a 100ft. ethernet running from my
basement up. Not to bad, though. I used to have dialup at 5 kb a sec.
