I tend to agree with you, though my only intent in posting was to pass on
the gentoo info to them. I was pretty impressed they're running gentoo in a
production environment since it is my preferred distro lately.
Tried to make light of it as an intro, but thinking more about it employers
willing to turn to this and other OS communities for employees seem to be an
undervalued commodity. Hiring managers and recruiters turning to the
mailing lists is one of the first places I look to when trying to find a
place where I'll be with other people who actually have a passion for the
work.
