Then GnuPG detached signatures would never make it through to the
mailing list... and that would make me sad. Our school filters out
anything that it cannot identify?automatically meaning that I have to
transmit secure e-mail in legacy formats through them. Which, of
course, makes things more annoying for a non-techie to read.
