[ale] ata_piix compiled in kernel 2.6.20

Is there a reason pn 2.6.20 that if I compile my ata_piix driver in
kernel that my drives are not recognized? The kernel output is
different and the result is that my md0 and md1 raids are not detected.
I'm trying to compile all hardware that I have in kernel and all
optional stuff as modules.
