[ale] Open source phone dialer?

Ale'ers...

I need an app that can dial out and leave a message with the recipient..in
an <sigh> telemarketing fashion...In our case its to dispatch alerts to a
users Voicemail if they elect for the function.
I looked at the AWAG project but its based off ISDN..I thought about the
festival project but I cannot think of a way to pipe the audio to /dev/modem
after it has dialed the number...any ideas?
