Isn't this a new install of F7? It may be that java5 did not require on
FC6 as it _was_ the stdlibc++ but F7 is using a newer version and rolled
all the older stdlibc++ stuff into the compat package for F7. I bet if
you  tried to install java 5 on that F7 system it would also require the
compat libs.
