Has anyone gotten VirtualBox to run? I tried it on my system at home
and it was a complete bust and wouldn't even boot up the guest OS.

I'm running Knoppix on XP right now using VirtualBox. It was quite easy
for me. Basically I installed Virtualbox, downloaded a knoppix iso
image, and configured my virtual machine to use the iso. I've only been
using it for a few weeks, but I may be able to help if you have specific
questions.
