[ale] OO unable to create file on a samba server

sounds like a config error my smb.conf is below:

#SAMBA operates on ports 137, 138 & 139

[global]
disable spoolss = yes
hosts allow = 10.0.0.0/8 127.0.0.1
hosts deny = 0.0.0.0/0
browseable = yes
hide unreadable = yes
invalid users = root
load printers = yes
log level = 1
logfile = /var/log/samba/%m.log

server string = Samba Server
time server = yes
workgroup = Workgroup
wins support = yes

[Stuff]
browseable = yes
comment = Stuff Mount on Scabbard
read only = no
