when I installed smart yesterday ( reinstall, new OS update) it added
all the correct channels, very nice!

only the one package gave me the error. when I did all the other
packages one at a time, they installed OK. Audacity and kavi2svcd
failed, both with the same error and it does seem to be PGP related. I
USED to use pgp on my XP box, when I used The Bat! email program, but
I have not used it on linux with kmail. I probably should learn how...
what I guess I need at this point is to import that bad key? This is
probably the wrong forum to get into a pgp HOW-TO.. pgp-basics maybe..
anyway, I fixed the problem by getting the audacity RPM and installing
it that way, rather than using smart. now smart says everything is
updated and all is cool.
