Copyright vs. Creativity: FreeCulture.org

Although intended "To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts," 
copyright has increasingly become a tool used to lock down culture and 
stifle innovation.   A representative of FreeCulture.org will speak 
about why this matters and how a growing movement, with roots in the 
FLOSS community, academia, media activists, creative artists and 
writers, and civil libertarians is working to enable creativity and 
restore balance to copyright.
