I got it; please keep the discussion on the list.

It looks like the package you want to install is in the security
repository. Add `deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main
contrib` to your sources.list. Then run this command `apt-get update
&& apt-get upgrade && apt-get install kernel-image-2.4.27-2-k7`. That
should resolve your problem.

As an extra note. If you are going to be running the stable branch, do
not forget to add the security repository to your sources. I didn't
include "non-free" in the source line because it doesn't look like you
are using non-free packages. If you decide to do so, don't forget to
add 'non-free' to the security source as well.
