Scott,
I don't think kscd has any mixing capability.  I believe kscd only plays CDs and has a volume control related directly to its own output.   Just checked and am right.  The output sliders in Kmix for any volume don't move in concert when the volume control in kscd is moved.  Kscd does have CDDB lookup capability.
