I agree.  PPTP has different standards through vendors.   With IPSEC you 
will need client software.  I know CISCO makes a nice package, but I 
don't know if it works with Linux.  I say it is nice cause you can roll 
it out for a users to install.  After it is installed all they need to 
do is know their username and password.
