Van,

It might be an issue with MaxMTU. To find out if it is have him use Dr.
TCP to change MaxMTU.

1. Use Dr. TCP to change MaxMTU to 500
2. Connect using VPN
3. Try authenticating to the website

If this works then the problem is due to MaxMTU not auto negotiating
properly. You can use Dr. TCP to find the highest MTU that is less than
1500 that works for his configuration.
